Gal Kirn completed his PhD at the University of Nova Gorica in Slovenia. He has since worked, among other places, at the Jan van Eyck Academie, Institute for Cultural Inquiry - Berlin, Humboldt University in Berlin, GWZO in Leipzig, and the Akademie Schloss Solitude. He is currently a Research Fellow at TU Dresden, while in the coming semester he will be a Visiting Professor for Cultural History at University of Nova Gorica.
